Job Title: Furniture Delivery Driver / Mover
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends)
Licence : B, Professional Driving experience required
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Driver with a B Licence to join our furniture moving team in Limerick. This role involves driving vans to customer locations, loading/unloading furniture, and ensuring safe and timely delivery and setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate company vans (B licence category) for local and regional furniture deliveries
2. Load, unload, and move furniture items with care and efficiency
3. Work as part of a two-person team (sometimes solo) for residential and commercial moves
4. Handle furniture assembly/disassembly as required
5. Provide excellent customer service on-site
6. Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
7. Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
8. Valid Category B driving licence (manual transmission preferred)
9. Minimum 6 months driving experience (delivery or similar preferred)
10. Good physical fitness – ability to lift heavy furniture safely
11. Good communication and teamwork skills
12. Punctual, dependable, and respectful toward customers
13. Basic English required (spoken and written)
Desirable
14. Previous experience in removals, delivery, or furniture assembly
15. Manual handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)
16. Familiarity with Limerick and surrounding areas
