This role is ideal for a strong leader with a passion for safety, customer service, and operational excellence.Essential RequirementsIWS/RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification (in date)Child Welfare Course completedSkills & Experience RequiredIdeally a minimum of 2 years' experience in a duty management or senior leisure attendant role within the sports and leisure industryFirst Aid Responder CertificateProven lifeguarding experiencePool Plant Operator qualification (desirable but not essential)Experience working in a busy leisure/swimming poolExperience with opening and closing shifts, cash handling, and operational safety standardsStrong IT skills, including roster preparation and staff trainingKnowledge of BMS (Building Management System) an advantage; training will be providedKey ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day running of shifts in a busy swimming pool environmentOpen and close the facility as required, ensuring all health & safety and operational standards are met and maintainedCover Senior LG/LG shifts/stations when requiredAssist in the training, management, and leadership of staffActively contribute to retaining Ireland Active's National Quality StandardImplementing SOPs and NOPsMaintain all required qualifications and certificationsManage customer interactions, including schools, group bookings, and birthday partiesEnsure full compliance with all Child Welfare and Safety Standards within normal operating proceduresDemonstrate a clear understanding of pool operations, water features, and BMS systemsCarry out regular plant room checks and maintain high operational standardsEnsure cleaning schedules and routine roster duties are completedPrepare reports and provide statistical information as requiredIdentify and report maintenance or repair issues and advise management on equipment maintenance or replacementClosing Date For Applications15th February 2026.Details On How To ApplyPlease email your CV to Include "DUTY MANAGER" in the subject lineView Job Here Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Wellness and Fitness Services
