Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Planning and Budget Management
* Procurement and Contract Administration
* Commercial Reporting and Project Monitoring
* Subcontractor Account Management
* Compliance and Risk Management
* Mentoring and Team Development
Requirements for Success:
* A degree-qualifying in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in a QS role, preferably within residential construction
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, contracts (e.g., RIAI, JCT), and procurement methods
* A proven track record of managing budgets, cost control, and commercial reporting
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Buildsoft, or similar)
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* A full driving license and willingness to travel to site as required
