Facilities Manager
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of commercial and industrial client facilities. The role includes managing hard and soft services, supervising on-site teams, coordinating vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of facilities management services, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, security, landscaping, catering, and waste management.
* Supervise and coordinate on-site FM staff, including technicians, cleaners, and supervisors.
* Liaise with third-party service providers to ensure service quality and timely delivery.
* Act as the primary client contact for all FM-related matters, attending meetings, reporting performance, and resolving issues.
* Monitor operational budgets, track KPIs, and implement cost-effective measures to improve efficiency.
* Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years' experience in facilities or property management, ideally with an outsourced FM provider.
* 5+ years in a management role overseeing FM operations.
* Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical services.
* Proven leadership, team management, and client-handling skills.
* Proficient in MS Office; experience with FM software is advantageous.
Preferred Certifications:
* Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
* IOSH / NEBOSH
* Project Management certification (PMP or similar)
