Job Title: Metal Fabrication Welder Position.
The primary role of this position is to perform various tasks related to metal fabrication and welding, including production welding, fabrication, and quality control. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, such as analyzing drawings, welding jobs, maintaining production standards, and producing consistently accurate work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyzing drawings and specifications to determine the required metal fabrication and welding processes.
* Performing various metal fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
* Operating a range of specialized hand and power tools, such as drills, taps, and rivets.
* Working with different types of metals, including mild steel, and ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards.
* Collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in workshop environments, preferably in welding or fabrication roles.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings, including welding diagrams.
* Experience working with a variety of specialized hand and power tools.
* Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and productively, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
