We are looking for a Junior International Development Consultant to join our team and contribute to meaningful initiatives in the field of international development.
About the Role
As a Junior International Development Consultant, you will work closely with senior colleagues to support the tendering process, project planning, coordination, and delivery of development projects across multiple countries. You will play a key role in ensuring activities run smoothly, deadlines are met, and stakeholders remain engaged.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in tender preparation, project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of activities.
· Support budget tracking and financial reporting.
· Liaise with project partners, donors, and field teams.
· Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action points.
· Contribute to progress reports, proposals, and project documentation.
· Help ensure compliance with donor requirements and organisational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
· 1–2 years of relevant experience (including internships or volunteer work).
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages an asset).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
· Team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
Desirable
· Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes.
· Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
