Junior Project Quantity Surveyor - Construction Contractor - Athlone Office/Project Location : Athlone Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: Site Based Pay: €45K-€60K negotiable based on experience plus company benefits package Experience: 1-3 years experience working with contractors Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is a leading Irish building contractor working on a broad range of buildings projects in the healthcare, education, industry, construction and leisure industries They are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor for a project based in Athlone Assist Senior QS in the cost management of multiple projects allocated by Commercial Director Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor with the task of procuring all required subcontractors and resources necessary for the carrying out of all works.
Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor with the task of managing all payments to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with company systems and procedures.
Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor in all paperwork required in the running and management of the project Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure that all variation accounts are dealt with promptly Assist Estimating where required.
Requirements Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management 1-3+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects Liaise with Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyors, internal stakeholders and client's representatives while on site including attendance at meetings Experience in preparing valuations, variation management, CVR reporting, payment certificates.
Experience in apartment developments would be preferred but not essential.
Reporting to commercial manager Package €45-€60K negotiable dependent on experience
