Electrical Maintenance Engineer
We are hiring for our client, a well‑known and highly respected local employer in the Ashbourne area, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a Monday to Friday evening role with no night shifts, offering stability, strong earning potential through overtime, and the opportunity to join a forward‑thinking and supportive engineering environment.
The Role
Carry out planned preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across the production site
Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, including motors, sensors, control panels, and PLCs
Ensure minimal downtime and improved reliability of manufacturing equipment
Work closely with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in line with compliance and quality standards
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
The Person
Recognised electrical trade qualification or equivalent
Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within a production or manufacturing setting
Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
The Reward
Annual pay of €54,000 + overtime
