Contracts Manager
Your new organization specializes in road construction and maintenance across Ireland. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team.
1. To maximize the efficiency of allocated resources, schedule works effectively, and coordinate project delivery.
2. Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare Act by performing duties as Project Supervisor.
3. Prepare relevant Construction Stage Health and Safety Plans from preliminary plans provided by clients, ensuring timely submission.
4. Conduct regular inspections/audits on Temporary Traffic Management to maintain high standards.
5. Communicate effectively with site supervisors/managers to ensure proper induction procedures for visitors, employees, contractors, and suppliers.
6. Liaise with Operations Managers / Supervisors / Managers to maintain accurate records of project progress, including quantities of materials used, Plant & Equipment Utilised, Labour on site, Safety audits, toolbox talks, task briefings, SSWPs, Variations to work requirements.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards for Surface Dressing works.
8. Coordinate testing and sampling of emulsions and aggregates to ensure excellence in material sourcing.
9. Source raw materials exclusively from approved suppliers and identify potential partners for future collaboration.
10. Appoint only Approved Contractors for subcontract operations, upholding industry standards.
11. Plan, forecast, and schedule works efficiently to meet contractual obligations.
12. Manage contract financial performance proactively, submit invoicing and valuations promptly, and complete monthly accounts accurately, including WIP and Accruals.
13. Maintain control over ongoing projects, nurturing existing customer relationships, and developing new partnerships to drive business growth.
