The Team Leader for Field Sales Representatives is responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives who work in the field to promote and sell the company's products and services. This role includes managing daily operations, driving sales targets, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Supervision
* Lead, mentor and manage a team of field sales representatives.
* Schedule and coordinate daily activities, sales routes and meetings
* Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, set goals and address challenges.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and increase market share
* Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure sales goals are met.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
3. Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
* Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
* Ensure the team provides high quality service and maintains a positive brand image.
4. Training and Development
* Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
* Provide ongoing coaching and development to improve performance and motivation.
* Identify and address training needs within the team.
5. Reporting and Administration
* Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, team performance and market conditions.
* Manage administrative tasks related to sales operations, including expense reports and sales documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
6. Health and Safety
* Ensure team compliance with health and safety regulations during field activities.
* Conduct safety briefings and promote culture of safety within the team.
* Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses in the field.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
Experience:
* Minimum of three years of experience in sales with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Skills
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent sales and negotiations abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and MOS.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
Working Conditions
Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings as needed.
Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
Additional Information
Valid driver's licence and clean driving record required.
Willingness to travel extensively to different locations within the assigned area.
The candidate must be located (based) in South East area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €32,000.00 per year
