Quality & Regulatory Affairs Co-Op Placement 2026 - Cork, Carrigtwohill

This position provides experience working in a regulated medical device company. You will develop and apply knowledge of quality, regulatory, and legal frameworks, requirements, legislation, processes, and procedures.

Additionally, this opportunity offers knowledge of EU Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, EU Medical Device Regulation 2017/745, and US regulatory requirements, across various product classifications. You will see how these regulations are implemented in industry practice.

Throughout the placement, you will be part of Stryker’s 2025 Cooperative cohort.

1. Identify a Quality/Regulatory Affairs improvement project with your team leader and supervisor, including objectives, scope, milestones, and evaluation criteria.

2. Communicate project updates and present at review forums.

3. Assist in developing regulatory procedures and best practices.

4. Help prepare technical documentation and submission packages for regulatory agencies.

5. Ensure compliance with Quality and Safety systems.

6. As a student, demonstrate dependability, punctuality, organization, teamwork, and initiative.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Engineering, Science, or related fields.

2. Honesty and integrity; compliance with quality systems, regulations, and policies.

3. Self-motivated, flexible, hardworking; enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

4. Reliable, dependable, punctual.

5. Organized, focused, capable of multi-tasking.

6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with basic PC skills.

8. Team player, capable of working within a multi-disciplined team.

9. Available for 6, 9, or 12 months; exact duration and start date to be discussed.
