Vickerstock are working in partnership with well-established, forward-thinking food manufacturer located in Donegal who have been producing high-quality dairy-based snack products for over 25 years and supply to leading supermarkets, convenience chains, and foodservice customers across the UK, Ireland, and beyond. What you'll be doing:
* Diagnosing and repairing process and packaging equipment
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
* Supporting production teams to achieve quality and output targets
* Maintaining engineering stores and accurate maintenance records
* Getting involved in continuous improvement and efficiency projects
* Supporting and mentoring operators on equipment use and basic fault-finding
What we're looking for:
* Time-served apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar food/FMCG manufacturing role
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills (multi-skilled highly desirable)
Hours of work:
* 39 hours per week
* Days 7am - 3.30pm
* Evenings 3pm - 11.30pm
