Enable Ireland is a leading not-for-profit organisation providing services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities in Ireland. The Head of Service South and West plays a pivotal role in driving this vision forward by providing strategic leadership and oversight to the services team. This role ensures the ongoing development and enhancement of services while maintaining high-quality care. The successful candidate will collaborate with government agencies, lead national strategy, and oversee financial management within the assigned region. They will lead a team of up to 895 employees, delivering services to approximately 6,000 service users. Operational leadership, team management, business transformation, and a practical understanding of disability services, HSE arrangements, and Irish public sector funding are core competencies required for this role.
The ideal candidate must be operating at Director level or equivalent senior management role with an exemplary track record in leadership and team management. Experience within a large not-for-profit, public sector organisation or private health/social care provider is essential.
