ResponsibilitiesEnsure the section is set up and ready for each service, fully stocked and prepared to meet shift demands.Store all food and ingredients correctly, including covers, labels, and dates, using proper containers to prevent waste and spoilage.Maintain the required quality and standards of products.Assist the Head Chef with SOP implementation and delivery.Prepare a variety of baked goods.Decorate and present pastries and baked goods attractively.Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment.Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions.Ensure the bakery section complies with health and safety regulations.Support other team members as needed to serve customers effectively and uphold the company's reputation.Take ownership of issues, resolve difficulties where possible, and seek advice when necessary.Use initiative in the interests of the hotel, guests, and team members.Perform duties safely and hygienically, complying with fire, health, hygiene, safety, and security standards.Adhere to the employee handbook and GDPR policies.Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.Bridge House Hotel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
