Meath Contract: Full-time, permanent Experience required: 5+ years Package: Competitive salary (DOE) + vehicle/allowance The Role An established construction and development company are seeking a Civils Foreman to take ownership of the civil and groundworks for a large residential project in Co. Meath. Comprising of 80+ units, the site is due to commence in the coming month. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate groundworks teams, including subcontractors and plant operators. Oversee all earthworks, foundations, drainage, services installation, and roadworks in line with design drawings and specifications. Manage site setup, including compound, access routes, and temporary works. Work closely with Site Engineer on setting-out, levels, and as-built verification. Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards. Carry out daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and monitor adherence to method statements and risk assessments. Liaise with utility providers and local authorities for connections, inspections, and approvals. Track progress against the programme of works and communicate updates to the Site Manager / Project Manager. Maintain accurate site records, checklists, and quality documentation. Support the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. About You Minimum 3+ years experience in a Foreman or General Foreman role within civil engineering or groundworks. Proven track record working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Strong technical knowledge of drainage, utilities, roads, foundations, and external works. Excellent organisational and communication skills; able to manage multiple subcontractors. Full understanding of Health & Safety regulations and QA processes.
