GEDON Executive is seeking an experiencedIntermediate Quantity Surveyorto join a prominentTier 2 Main ContractorinDublin, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with3-5 years of experienceto manage the full commercial lifecycle of diverse new build projects across theResidential, Commercial, and Education sectors.With a competitive salary of up to€60,000, this role is designed for a commercially astute individual ready to take significant responsibility and drive cost control and contractual compliance across a stable pipeline of Dublin-based projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Management: Manage all financial aspects for assigned project packages, including cost reporting, forecasting, and preparing detailed Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) .Contract Administration: Administer subcontracts and assist the Senior QS in managing the main contract, ensuring strict adherence to contractual requirements (e.g., RIAI ).Procurement: Lead the procurement process for subcontractor packages, including preparing tender documentation, conducting thorough tender analysis, and negotiating contract terms.Valuations & Payments: Prepare and submit accurate monthly valuations/applications for payment and manage the timely payment cycle for the supply chain.Change Control: Accurately measure, value, and negotiate variations and change orders, ensuring all commercial entitlement is secured.Risk Mitigation: Actively assist in identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks across the project.What You'll BringProven Experience: Demonstrable experience as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (typically 3-5 years ) within a Main Contractor environment in Ireland or the UK.Sector Exposure: Direct experience with Residential, Commercial, and/or Education new build projects is highly desirable.Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a focus on meticulous cost control and strong negotiation abilities.Contractual Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of standard construction contracts used in the Irish market ( RIAI ).Qualifications: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.What Our Client OffersA competitive salary of up to €60,000, commensurate with your experience.The opportunity to work on a secure and diverse pipeline of new build projects in Dublin across critical sectors.A clear pathway for career progression to a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within a well-established Tier 2 contractor.The GEDON AdvantageGEDON Executive is a global search firm specialising in the preconstruction & project controls sector, with a strong network of leading contractors in Dublin.
