As the sole finance professional on-site, you will take ownership of all aspects of financial management and reporting, playing a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and commercial insight. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary depending on experience Full-time, permanent contract 25 days annual leave, plus statutory holidays Excellent benefits package including pension, medical & dental cover Location: Cavan fully onsite Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Irish GAAP and/or IFRS Manage general ledger functions, reconciliations, and journal entries Lead timely payment cycles and ensure adherence to terms Collaborate with the senior management team and global finance functions on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Act as primary finance liaison across international teams Manage banking relationships and oversee cashflow Support audit processes (internal & external) Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and reporting processes Oversee supplier contracts and commercial terms Support payroll, accounts payable, and other core finance activities What Were Looking For: Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA) 3+ years experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within a multinational or high-growth setting Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and tax Familiarity with international operations or multi-entity structures Proficient in financial systems (SAP and/or Power BI desirable) Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus Attributes for Success: High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, solutions-driven approach Strong organisational and time-management skills Able to work independently and collaboratively across functions If you're an ambitious accountant seeking a broad, hands-on finance role within a growing global business, wed love to hear from you.
