Job Title: Chef de Partie
We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Kilkea Castle! Kilkea Castle Hotel is a 140-bedroom resort set on 180 acres of landscape, gardens, and ancient woodland. This family-owned estate offers a tranquil spa, an 18-hole championship golf course, and a world-class culinary experience. Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the production of food items following instructions from the Sous Chef and Head Chef
* Be knowledgeable of the day's business and menu
* Ensure all dishes are prepared timely and meet presentation standards
* Minimize wastage, manage portion control, and act responsibly to control costs
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene from storage to service
* Ensure HACCP compliance within the kitchen
* Report any equipment issues to your supervisor
Skills and Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role in a 4-star hotel preferred
* Valid work permit for at least 12 months required
* Passion for food, creativity, and talent in culinary arts
* Attention to detail, friendly, and dedicated
* Team player with good communication skills
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure
