GCA Group is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join its Group Finance team based in Dublin. This is a key role supporting the Group Financial Reporting Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across a global organisation.
You will contribute to:
The production and review of monthly management accounts
The preparation of annual IFRS financial statements
The coordination of the annual audit process (IAS & PCAOB standards)
You will work closely with finance teams across multiple international locations to ensure high-quality reporting aligned with strict deadlines.
Monthly Activities
Prepare and support consolidated management accounts (P&L & Balance Sheet)
Review and consolidate cash flow statements (local currencies -> USD)
Analyse and reconcile fixed assets & intangible assets
Perform Actual vs Budget analysis across entities
Participate in budget reviews with local Financial Controllers
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
Support Board reporting and shareholder communications
Perform ad-hoc analyses in a fast-paced environment
Review Head Office accounts and prepare audit packages
Support statutory financial statements preparation
Handle corporation tax & deferred tax calculations
Consolidate tax reporting at Group level
Assist in producing Group IFRS consolidated financial statements
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
Background in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 audit firm
Strong experience in:
Monthly and annual reporting cycles
Reviewing multi-entity / international accounts
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, FCCS is a plus)
Ability to work with international stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, hands-on and autonomous mindset
