Site Manager
The role of Site Manager is crucial in ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This involves overseeing daily site operations, monitoring and evaluating the performance of site staff and subcontractors, and enforcing health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed project schedules and work plans, allocating resources and assigning tasks to personnel and subcontractors.
* Oversee daily site operations to ensure work progresses according to schedule and quality requirements.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of site staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and address non-compliance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You should have a comprehensive understanding of construction methods and materials, and be able to interpret drawings and specifications.
You will also need to have experience managing construction sites from mobilisation through to project completion, and be familiar with health and safety legislation and protocols. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to chair site meetings and liaise with project stakeholders.
