Job Summary
Working under close supervision, performs a variety of simple to routine assignments by following detailed work instruction that requires limited judgment and decision-making to complete.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support on complex automation assembly equipment to achieve a high level of equipment reliability and quality product with minimal defects.
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork, records and CMMS to cGMP standards.
* Ensure PMs and Calibrations and performed 100% on time.
* Assist in implementation of process improvements to achieve more efficient operations.
* Assist with the commissioning of new equipment / projects.
* Order and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts.
* Flexibility to maintain various equipment and technologies, both electrical and mechanical is required.
* Complete assigned continuous improvement projects and train others as required.
* Flexibility to work a shift pattern and availability to travel to support new equipment and/or training
Specifications:
* Level 6 HETAC Qualification in mechanical, control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or other suitable technical discipline or qualified trade personnel and have a minimum of 6 months hands on experience in pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, servo motor drives, vision systems, ultrasonic welding or workshop machining.
* Experience in mechanical / electrical / high volume automation / robotics.
