Pharmaceutical Quality Technician Role

About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the movement of materials across the network, system transactions including movement and shipping of samples across QC labs within the network, inspection of primary packaging, and participation in writing/revising/rolling out accurate operational procedures, training materials, and maintenance procedures for various Quality systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Movement of materials across the network.
2. System transactions including movement and shipping of samples across QC labs within the network.
3. Inspection of primary packaging.
4. Participation in writing/revising/rolling out accurate operational procedures, training materials, and maintenance procedures for various Quality systems.
5. Review, approval, and trending of test results.
6. Peer review of other analysts' documentation to ensure QC Right First Time KPIs are achieved.
7. Participation in daily meetings and effective communication of testing progress, deviations, etc.
8. Ensuring adherence to Quality Systems within the department on a daily basis.
9. Completing all documentation in compliance with GMP and GxP standards.
10. Problem-solving to identify root causes of issues.
11. Providing support with audit/inspection requirements to ensure department compliance/readiness.
12. Collaborating with others by sharing skill-sets and expertise.
13. Driving continuous improvement through analysis of system failures (FMEA, Fishbone diagrams, 5 whys, etc).
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar field and 1-3 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceuticals industry or a similar operating environment with experience in a Quality function. Previous analytical experience is also desirable.
