JCPS Mechanical Ltd is a leading mechanical services contractor in Ireland, renowned for delivering comprehensive mechanical solutions across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. We specialise in the installation and maintenance of advanced, energy-efficient heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and piping systems.
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team and support the on-site delivery and coordination of mechanical works. This is a full-time, permanent role, with projects primarily located in Dublin and surrounding areas.
Role Overview
The Site Supervisor will manage day-to-day site operations for mechanical installations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate site teams, liaise with contractors and clients, and ensure projects progress according to programme schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Coordination
* Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams and subcontractors on site.
* Ensure daily activities align with project timelines and milestones.
* Monitor the quality of workmanship, ensuring compliance with company standards and client specifications.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all mechanical works are executed correctly.
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Enforce site health and safety policies and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statement reviews regularly.
* Address and report safety concerns or incidents promptly.
* Ensure all personnel follow safe work practices and site rules.
Communication & Documentation
* Liaise with project managers, site managers, contractors, and clients regarding site progress and requirements.
* Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and labour/equipment records.
* Coordinate the delivery, storage, and allocation of materials.
* Assist in resolving on-site technical issues in collaboration with senior management and project engineers.
Quality Assurance & Problem-Solving
* Ensure all mechanical installations meet technical specifications, industry standards, and design drawings.
* Identify site issues or delays quickly and implement corrective actions.
* Support commissioning and handover processes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements
* Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the mechanical or building services sector.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
* Proven experience managing site teams on commercial or residential projects.
* Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (required).
* Additional certifications such as Working at Heights, MEWP, or Supervisory Training (advantageous).
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full, clean Category B driving licence.
