The company designs, develops and manufactures added value Caps, Closures, Roll-on Balls, Jars and Bottles for the Personal Care, Food, Home Care and Health Care markets.
Our Irish facility located in Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick is currently recruiting for Production Operators to work as part of a 4 Cycle shift team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient production of our customer products. You will work as part of a team to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Main Areas of Responsibility
* Operate production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines.
* Monitor machinery to ensure proper operation and identify any issues or defects.
* Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Escalate non-conformances on processing lines immediately to Production Supervisor.
* Maintain constant adherence to all company, customer, and legal requirements.
* Troubleshoot problems with equipment or production processes as they arise.
* Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in Daily Handover meetings.
* Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge related to the production process.
Knowledge, Skills Experience
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, desirable.
* Ability to operate production equipment and machinery effectively.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
* Six sigma / Lean exposure/ 6S housekeeping awareness or knowledge desirable - full training will be provided.
Competencies
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Basic IT and numeracy skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
