General Summary
As a member of the HR Management Systems team, your role will focus on the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of our products and resources. You will enhance operational and organizational efficiency, align HR technology and processes with our business goals, and facilitate continuous improvement in Qualcomm’s user experience for our employees.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Human Resources Management Systems, Human Resources, or related work experience.
Associate's degree and 9+ years of Human Resources Management Systems, Human Resources, or related work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 11+ years of Human Resources Management Systems, Human Resources, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
9+ years of HR Management Systems or related work experience.
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Plays a significant role in product ownership in a specific area (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Eightfold, etc.) and continuous product development; identifies needed improvements and enhancements with HR senior leadership for existing systems, reports, integrations, etc., and works closely with IT, Legal, and Works Councils to implement requests.
Leverages advanced knowledge of HR Management Systems best practices, trends and developments in data management and security, and HR applications to stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend and deploy strategic solutions across a variety of HR issues; coaches other team members and/or direct reports to understand and apply advanced concepts to complete tasks and provides constructive feedback to team members to address skill gaps.
Manages complex Tier 2 (technical escalation) inquiries for Annual Review, myQ, Eightfold, ServiceNow platform, data conversions through enterprise interface builders (EIBs), and data conversions and integrations for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects; provides support on day‑to‑day processes and materials that help users learn how to utilize data and resources at Qualcomm (e.g., learning content, change management, knowledge articles, etc.).
Participates in learning forums, conferences, industry summits, and technical discussions related to HR application ecosystem involvement; actively shares advanced knowledge with somewhat large audiences; aligns HRMS team development with department/organization goals.
Develops project plans and manages multiple complex and large‑scale HR projects; creates requests to solve any issues that arise with external vendors.

Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
Has a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that will have substantial impact over the organization).
Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem‑solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
