About the Role:EPS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join our Service & Repair Team based in our branch in Naas.As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the maintenance activities on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants and various pumping stations in the Leinster AreaA highly varied, challenging role providing invaluable exposure to the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Provide day to day mechanical expertise within a water treatment environmentBe responsible for maintenance and system support on all process equipment and pumping systems in the Leinster AreaUse analytical troubleshooting skills to quickly determine the root cause and all necessary repairsEnsure all maintenance work is carried out in an efficient, safe and in line with current health and safety legislationDevelop and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation using our mobile CMMS systemPlan work activities in conjunction with the Service Manager and Area SupervisorKey Competencies and Skills:Knowledge of water pumping systems, engine driven equipment (pumps, generators, compressors), pipework installation and pressure/flow instrumentationExperience in stainless steel and plastic welding an advantageCandidates should be flexible regarding working hoursStrong teamwork abilitiesGood verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent technical problem-solving skillsCommitted to maintaining high safety and work standardsExcellent organisational and interpersonal skillsQualifications:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical TradeFull EU/Irish driving licenceCompensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits package, including company vehicle.Opportunities for professional development and career growthCPD accredited employerA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone providedFlexible working options, dependent on location and role requirementsSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS GroupWe welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
