Job Specifications:
This job specification outlines the general responsibilities associated with the role of Manufacturing Process Technician on the Amgen Manufacturing Site.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operate and set up manufacturing equipment
* Process parts and components for manufacturing
* Perform transactions in electronic systems
* Clean and sanitize production areas
This is a Fixed Term Contract role for 24 months, requiring successful candidates to work a shift pattern.
Hiring Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Work a variety of shift patterns including days, 2, 3 and 4 cycle shifts
* Perform all operations with due care and attention
* Involved in problem solving and troubleshooting
* Responsible for self-inspection Quality & Safety Audits
* Participate in a learning and development program
* Responsible for cross-training of other colleagues
* Use, review, revise and upgrade operational documentation
* Play a key role in the development of manufacturing systems
* Contribute to safe working practices and safety initiatives
* Carry out sampling, testing and inspections
* Assist with corporate, FDA, HPRA audits
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess:
* A minimum of Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent
* A third level qualification in a relevant discipline would be an advantage
* Relevant experience in a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar environment
* Excellent organization, communication and team development skills
* Demonstrated ability to deliver to team, site and personal objectives
Preferred Skills:
Applicants with the following skills are preferred:
* Experience working with equipment utilized in the manufacture of parenteral products
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Excellent problem-solving skills
