The role of Finance Administrator is to support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the finance, payroll and company secretariat functions of the company.
The CEO is responsible, with the support of the Finance Manager, for ensuring the ongoing operation of:
Swan Regional Youth Service's
Governance and Legal Status Requirements (Company Secretary)
Financial Reporting and Systems
Risk Management (Finance)
Procurement and Payments
Financial Control and Capital Funding
Human Resources, Payroll and Travel and Subsistence
Charity Regulator Authority Governance Code
Furthermore, ensuring the day to day and long-term management of Swan Regional Youth Service finance in accordance with the best practice and the organization's ethos.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Finance Management
To support the Finance Manager with
Reporting to the Board of Management.
Reporting to all relevant funders (Quarterly, yearly & once off small grant funds).
Managing day-to-day finance tasks: invoices, payments, purchase orders.
Preparing monthly reconciliations, salary data, grant reports, pension payments, management of accounts.
Supporting grant budgeting and year-end accounts preparation for auditors.
Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the Charity Regulator Governance Code.
In conjunction with the CEO, Finance Manager and Senior Management Teams, managing the accounts and yearly budget and making all necessary returns in a timely efficient manner to all relevant funders.
