The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee the planning, execution, control and delivery of our infrastructure software programs. This portfolio of software includes integrated SDKs, reference platforms and software infrastructure products for data centre, cloud and edge. These programs and products enable our Openchip Risc-V based SoCs, accelerator cards and integrated systems and provide the infrastructure foundation for our full-stack platform offerings towards AI, HPC, cloud and edge deployments.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, an understanding of semiconductor and software technologies, and experience in driving the execution of full-stack software integration programs. You will be motivated to solve problems, lead from the front, collaborate deeply with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate transparently on behalf of the team.You will help us build software infrastructure platforms that use the full potential of our unique hardware that will be at the heart of datacenters, on-prem infrastructures and edge. Our aim is to build platforms that are open, future-proof and able to support a wide variety of workloads.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving execution across disciplines to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. You will use your strong communication skills to drive timely resolution of program risks, issues and changes, and articulate clear and accurate status to internal and external stakeholders.You will also help drive the growth and development of the program management function within Openchip: defining repeatable processes and communications practices, mentoring team members, aligning stakeholders on program roles and responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead programs that integrate proprietary and open source infrastructure software components supporting AI, HPC and edge applications. Manage from initiation through to support in the marketBring your cross-functional team together, ensuring alignment on program objectives, roles & responsibilities, deliverables, timelines. Be the team's driving forceDevelop program plans, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure successful program execution within budgetCollaborate with product management, engineering, architecture and marketing teams to define program requirements and deliverablesMonitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesCommunicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior managementFoster a collaborative team environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Help drive growth and development of the program management function within OpenchipDefine the infrastructure needs for program success, including lab, benchmarking, tooling and other aspects.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a strong Program Manager in software infrastructure products, systems or a related complex technical fieldStrong knowledge and experience of software integration and the software product lifecycle, processes and technologies.
