Hands-on maintenance of highly automated bespoke manufacturing equipment and related support equipment, documenting work to a GMP standard.
Manage external contractors in support of the manufacturing equipment preventative maintenance plan.
Ensure spare parts, consumables, and documentation records are maintained.
Apply structured problem-solving techniques to equipment defects and issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring equipment performs to expectations by utilizing available performance data and collaborating with wider engineering support to optimize performance.
Support the creation and modification of documentation to support maintenance and calibration activities (PM, Data Sheets, Work Instructions, troubleshooting guides).
Assist in compliance efforts related to safety events, quality events, CAPAs, change management, and investigations, including electrical and mechanical issues on equipment.
The minimum requirements for this role are:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of highly automated filling, sealing, assembly, or packaging process equipment within a regulated industry.
2. National Mechanical/Electrical craft certificate or a third-level diploma/degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, automation, instrumentation, or mechanical).
3. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and proactive.
5. Experience using a CMMS system, preferably SAP.
6. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Dedicated, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
