Mission
The Process & Methods Project Team Member (PTM) is responsible for delivering the Process within the Project Milestones. This includes detailed Process Design, development, and timely, within-budget delivery. The role ensures the application of Valeo Lean Process Design Principles.
Responsibilities
* Attend Project Meetings and address Open Issues.
* Present Process at Customer meetings onsite and off-site.
* Define Process Development Milestones.
* Analyze RFQs to estimate Process Setup Costs and Labour content.
* Perform Process & Logistics Reviews.
* Define the Process Flow.
* Perform Process FMEA.
* Coordinate DFM Reviews with Design & Test Engineers for each Process Step on PFC.
* Complete Process Design Simulations and Mock-Ups.
* Conduct Lean Process Design Reviews.
* Generate & execute Process Qualification Plans & Reports.
* Prepare and conduct Full Day Production Runs (FDPR).
* Perform Risk Assessments focusing on H & S issues before and after Equipment/Process implementation.
Education/Training
Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing, preferably Automotive Electronics.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Design, APQP, PPAP, MSA, PFMEAs, DFM Rules, & 5S.
* Experience managing volume manufacturing projects.
* Proficiency with CAD tools like AutoCAD, CADStart, SolidWorks, etc., is beneficial.
