Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervision
: Leading and managing a team of subcontractors to ensure daily objectives are met.
Technical Execution
: Ensuring high-quality pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete, as well as managing formwork/shuttering and steel reinforcement installation.
Safety Compliance
: Enforcing strict health and safety standards on-site, including performing pre-pour inspections, managing risk, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Site Coordination
: Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics to guide concrete placement at the correct elevation and alignment.
Daily Reporting
: Maintaining accurate records of hours worked, materials used, and providing daily reports to site managers/project managers.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a foreman or supervisory position, specifically within concrete construction, groundworks, or RC frames (reinforced concrete).
Technical Skills
: Deep knowledge of concrete techniques (pouring, screeding, finishing) and ability to read construction plans.
Equipment Knowledge
: Experience operating or supervising the use of small plants, tools, and heavy machinery.
Leadership
: Strong communication skills to liaise with project managers, clients, and crews.
