Title of Post: Post Doctoral Researcher (Level 1) in Dairy Process Modelling
JOB SYNOPSIS
The Dairy Processing Technology Centre (DPTC) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the area of population balance modelling of coagulation and crystallisation processes related to dairy manufacturing.
The successful applicant will join the DPTC team and develop mechanistic models related to cheese and butter production.

Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates.
A doctoral degree (level 10 NFQ) in mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline in a subject that involves population balance models.
Track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant Q1 academic journals.
Demonstrated expertise in the development and analysis of population balance models related to aggregation and crystallisation processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Specific Requirements
Previous experience in research involving dairy manufacturing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous involvement in multidisciplinary research involving industrial and academic partners

Screening:

Shortlisting:

Interview:
