You will interact with EY colleagues globally and work across our different sectors and business activities.Skills and Attributes for SuccessWe are looking for individuals who have a passion for helping clients to future-proof their businesses and make them more sustainable in an ever-changing world where doing business is increasingly shaped by social purpose, climate change, effective governance, innovation, and the creation of long-term value.To Qualify for the Role7+ years’ experience in external sustainability assurance/audit, ideally at Senior Manager levelMinimum of 4-5 years’ experience in sustainabilityQualified Accountant – e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA(SA) qualified OR sustainability qualificationProven experience in sustainability or non-financial assurance engagementStrong understanding of CSRD, ESRS and related frameworksExcellent leadership, project management and communication skillsKeen interest in helping clients to better understand, measure, quantify and articulate sustainability and the long-term value they create for investors and other stakeholdersStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with excellent written and verbal communicationAbility to network effectively within large organisations and build relationships with individuals and clientsAbility to contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tendersIdeally, You Will Also HaveAbility to learn and quickly understand new concepts outside area of expertiseAbility to think strategically but also identify, develop and implement practical solutionsStrong technical, quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to apply to solve new problemsA deep understanding of the links between climate change, business risk and value creationWorking and effectively communicating with team members with different technical backgroundsDevelopment of other team members by sharing knowledge and informal coachingPrior consulting or industry experience is an advantageRelevant professional qualifications in sustainability, climate change, environmental science, or other areas of relevanceWhat We Look ForWe’re interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen.
