Job Summary:
A Data Architect is required to lead technical research projects focused on data management, interoperability, and grid model management. This role involves supporting the adoption and extension of IEC-CIM/CGMES standards for grid model management.
The successful candidate will develop and implement data management plans for EU Horizon Europe projects addressing challenges in AI, regulatory compliance, and energy system modeling. Additionally, they will contribute to designing enterprise data architectures that support AI-driven applications and advanced analytics for electric utilities.
This role requires experience in developing data integration strategies for enterprise systems enabling machine learning models and predictive analytics while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and interoperability frameworks.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of DMBOK, DCAM, FAIR principles Systems Integration & Protocols: Data exchange protocols semantic standards systems integrator experience Open API Apache Avro SQL Kafka Hadoop Master data management metadata governance information architecture digital transformation capability maturity models Experience as a Data Architect Application Engineer or similar highly desirable Familiarity with RDBMS NoSQL APIs business architecture software development Strong verbal written communication skills ability present research externally engage international stakeholders
