Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accounts and reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
* Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
* Complete month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
* Support statutory audits by preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparation of VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax returns.
* Monitor and manage fixed asset register.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
