 
        
        Job Summary
The Senior Executive Technician role involves producing technical drawings and documents for capital projects and operations, as well as managing procurement processes and supervising staff. This individual will work closely with other departments and agencies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of topographical surveying techniques, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and GIS analysis. They should also possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
This role requires a holder of a full driving license, Category B, free from endorsement, and the ability to provide their own vehicle for use in carrying out duties. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective performance in areas such as management and change, delivering results, performance through people, personal effectiveness, local government knowledge and understanding.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Supporting the implementation of the Capital Programme and the Annual Road/Traffic Improvement Programme
 * Conducting surveys, collecting data, and updating the GIS record on systems, as necessary
 * Responding to questions raised by the public, consultants, and contractors in relation to maps and records
 * Maintaining and improving Road and Traffic Infrastructure, Public Realm, Open Spaces, and Parks
 * Ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation and policies
