Lisheen Nursing Home is a purpose-built nursing home registered for 118 beds, designed to provide quality services for older people, people with dementia, and anyone with disabilities. Lisheen has been in operation since 1988. We have opportunities for staff who are genuinely interested in caring for people. Immediate Position: Full Time Health Care Assistant: 39 - 42 hrs per week
Once training and orientation are complete, our roster works on a 2-week system:
1. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
2. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Shifts are generally from 8am-8:30pm or 8pm-8am.
Desirable (but not all essential) Experience:
* FETAC Level 5 Care of the Older Person or similar
* Experience working in a nursing home / care setting
* Good Communication Skills essential
* Hold a Valid Work Permit (EU)
