Cuntasóir faoi Oiliúint/Trainee Accountant Tá Grúpa EirGrid ar thús cadhnaíochta sa nuálaíocht i dtionscal an fhuinnimh, rud a chumasaíonn an t-aistriú i dtreo todhchaí chliste ísealcharbóin atá cumasaithe ag an teicneolaíocht. Tá ról ríthábhachtach ag an ngrúpa trí fhorbairt agus oibriú sábháilte na heangaí tarchurtha leictreachais in Éirinn agus i dTuaisceart Éireann (trína úinéireacht ar SONI i.e. Oibreoir Córais Thuaisceart Éireann). Tugann an eangach tarchuir cumhacht ón áit a ngintear í go dtí an áit a bhfuil gá léi, ag soláthar do chustaiméirí móra tionsclaíocha agus do na líonraí dáileacháin, rud a sholáthraíonn tithe, feirmeacha agus gnólachtaí ar fud an oileáin. Oibríonn an grúpa freisin an Margadh Leictreachais Aonair mórdhíola (SEM) agus Idirnascaire an Iarthair Thoir, nasc ardvoltais idir Éire agus an Bhreatain Mhór.

Job Purpose The Finance Department is responsible for the provision of timely and insightful financial information to the Board, Executive and Management. It also has responsibility for the ongoing development of the company’s internal control procedures and financial information system to fulfil regulatory and statutory requirements. The Finance Department provides a key business partnering approach across all of the Executive Directorates across the Group to support and enable delivery of EirGrid’s strategic objectives.
Oibreoidh iarrthóirí EirGrid are currently seeking to hire graduates who wish to pursue the ACA/ACCA qualification. Successful hires will work across the various team within Finance gaining exposure to all elements of a fast paced and growing finance function at a time when our future has never looked more exciting. Support will be provided to trainees in pursing the ACA/ACCA exams with paid study leave and course fees and you will also benefit from a supportive working environment and the guidance of a mentor who is a qualified accountant.

* A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree in Business, Accountancy & Finance or equivalent course
* Ambition and commitment to study towards gaining ACA/ACCA qualification.
* Highly motivated and possess excellent written and communication skills.
* Strong personal organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Inmhianaithe
* Exemptions from some ACA/ACCA exams is highly desirable.
* Previous experience of the use of an ERP would be advantageous.
