Purpose The HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR function on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies and Irish employment legislation.
Major Responsibilities Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, and offboarding.
Prepare and issue contracts of employment, contract amendments, and HR correspondence.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and shared drives.
Support recruitment administration, including interview scheduling, offer documentation, and pre-employment checks.
Administer absence and leave records (annual leave, sick leave, parental and statutory leave).
Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries from employees and managers.
Support HR reporting, audits, and data collection as required.
Assist with HR projects, system updates, and process improvements.
Ensure all HR activities are handled confidentially and in line with data protection requirements.
Education HR qualification or currently working towards a recognised HR qualification CIPD.
Experience Knowledge Previous experience in an HR Administrator or HR support role.
Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data.
Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
Skills and Competencies Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
