Senior Finance Projects Manager
(Fixed Term Contract)To lead and deliver critical finance projects across partner integrations, new product development, acquisitions, and corporate-level initiatives.
This role combines commercial and data-driven insight with hands-on project execution, including driving automation, AI-led finance transformation, and strategic readiness for future business growth.
Reporting to: Group Financial Controller
Partner Integrations and New Product Development:Act as lead point of contact for other teams, supporting and influencing cross-functionally in the operational finance and system reporting aspects of a new partner or new product integration.Identify process gaps in existing ways of working and resolve same, finding a better way of working to optimise financial outcomes.Review contracts for new prospect and partner renewals to reflect the financial commitments of the partnership and work with Go Live and Product and Technology teams to ensure financials are accurate.Plan and ensure delivery of appropriate system automation, enhancement, and development work within our IT architecture to facilitate operating and reporting on new products and commercial requirements.Ensure appropriate team members have been identified/trained/supported to operate, execute, and report on the new requirements from the date of go-live.Finance Systems, Automation & AI ToolsDrive the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP), with a particular focus on embedding Microsoft AI tools such as Power BI, Co-Pilot, for finance process improvement.Lead the rollout of data alignment projects including ThoughtSpot, ensuring consistent reporting and analysis across business units.Assess and support the deployment of finance automation initiatives – including invoicing, reporting workflows, and data reconciliation.Assist the review and development of the Finance AI strategy, ensuring that the department evolves alongside digital finance capabilities.Lead review of existing tools, assessing efficiency, reporting capabilities, and employee usability.Strategic Growth Projects:Work with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership on strategic initiatives, to deliver on the company's long term strategic objectivesSupport onboarding of newly acquired businesses into existing finance infrastructure and reporting environments.Develop and implement clear project plans to assess current tools, processes, and systems as part of integration and transformation work.Knowledge and Experience:Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experienceDemonstrated experience in finance transformation, project delivery, or financial operations/reporting roles.Proven track record of implementing ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365) and embedding AI and automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Co-Pilot).Experience in data-driven insight generation, including implementing tools like ThoughtSpot and aligning multiple reporting sources.Demonstrated ability to assess and improve finance tooling such as T&E platforms or invoice automation solutions.Excellent project planning and delivery skills – able to assess existing tools/processes, define requirements, and manage execution.Commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear business insight.A self-starter, able to lead workstreams independently and manage competing priorities effectively.High attention to detail, able to identify an issue and investigate and design a solution, driving that solution through to implementation.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and nurture relationships across the business at all levels.Classon House
