Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
Professionally Qualified Social Worker
Full Time (35hrs) Specified Purpose
Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Professionally Qualified Social Worker. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to work on a Community Mental Health multidisciplinary team to provide clinical social work input to service users and their supporters, that seeks to improve their health and social wellbeing.
Minimum Requirements
* Possess the NQSW or equivalent and be registered with the Social Workers Registration Board of CORU as a Social Worker.
* Demonstrate sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
* Demonstrate effective team skills
* Demonstrate a commitment to providing a quality service
* Demonstrate the ability to evaluate information and make effective decisions
Remuneration
Salary Grade 3017 SOCIAL WORKER on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
€52,120 - €72,356 per annum pro rata
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Blackrock. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
