What We Do
We oversee the financial management aspects of our clients' business so they can focus on their core activities. We offer a comprehensive range of services as providers of a fully outsourced finance function: strategic financial advice and tax planning, bank and investor funding, business planning and forecasting, management accounting and financial reporting, cash management as well as system process design and implementation.
Who we are looking for
Due to continued growth in our business, we are now seeking an ambitious Qualified Accountant. You will be primarily responsible for the production of management accounts and variance and insight reporting for a range of clients to strictly prescribed timelines and to the highest standards. The role will involve liaising internally with management and supervising team members, as well as externally with client staff and management.
Primarily based in the CFO Services offices, opportunities arise periodically to work on-site with our clients largely based in Dublin. This rotation varies depending on client requirements. We also offer flexible working arrangements; remote working, or from home, facilitated when team and client deliverable requirements permit.
Main duties & responsibilities
General
Lead a client delivery team to achieve agreed quality output within tight timelines
Liaise with colleagues to agree allocation of resources
Liaising with Client Managers and Clients on commercial arrangements
Reporting
- Preparation, completion and analysis of monthly management accounts. This will involve overseeing and supporting the team that assists with the preparation of the management accounts.
Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Analytical review of results and investigations of variances and reporting.
- Reviewing and reporting on factors influencing business performance; reporting on financial performance and key performance indicators to stakeholders from a non-financial background.
Forecasting - Preparation of cashflow and revised budget forecasts.
Budgeting – preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis.
Tax
Corporation Tax - preparation and submission of returns.
VAT – review of VAT3 returns.
Other
Assisting with and managing external audits for clients.
Strategic financial planning.
Ad-hoc reporting/analysis as required.
What we need
Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or ACA) ideally with 2 years Irish PQE.
Experience of completing management accounts.
Effective communicator - internally and externally with clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Excel & Word required.
Experience in Sage Accounting Systems, Xero, Accounts IQ a distinct advantage.
