The service is designed to help people identify risk factors, signs and symptoms of common conditions, which if not detected could result in serious health issuesCandidate requirements:Active IMC RegistrationOwn Medical Indemnity InsuranceEligible to work in IrelandMisuse of Drugs Leven 1 Cert (Desirable, training can be arranged)Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience in IrelandCommunity & Primary care experience (essential)Strong Psychiatric/Mental Health Background (essential)Ability to write own prescriptions (essential)Skill sets:- Job Specific Competencies and Knowledge- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.- Ability to plan, organise and supervise.- Excellent computer skills.- Adhere to internal controls and protocols outlined by our Client.- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.- Deliver services within a specified timeframe.- Keep up to date in relevant competencies specific to the role.- Ensure Quality and client safety in all aspects of care provided ensuring compliance.- Review and implement changes as required by client.- Maintain professional appearance at all times.Key Responsibilities and DeliverablesThe role holder will work with our client's customers providing services including the following: Health Issues & Symptoms Medical History Allergy History Medication Lifestyle Analysis Family Medical History Blood Pressure Weigh-in Body Mass Index Spirometry Respiratory Test Testicular Examination Breast Examination Vision Assessment Hearing Assessment Cardiovascular Evaluation Joint & Muscle Evaluation Respiratory Evaluation Central Nervous System Abdominal ExaminationAt the end of the health check our GPs are required to complete a full report for the patient with onward referrals as appropriate.
