Finance / Accounts AssistantLocation:South DublinAbout the RoleA long established retail business are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their finance team in Dublin 24. This role will provide vital support to the Senior Accountant and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their accounts experience within a supportive and growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and input purchase orders accurately into the finance system.Match, batch, and code supplier invoices.Prepare and process supplier payments in line with company policies.Manage and resolve supplier queries, ensuring issues are followed up promptly.Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate records.Assist with month-end close tasks including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting support.Provide general finance admin support to the Senior Accountant as required.Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth purchase-to-pay processes.Skills & Experience1–2 years' experience in an accounts payable/accounts assistant role.Strong attention to detail with good numerical skills.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
