This is a rewarding and hands-on role where you will support residents with daily routines, personal care, education attendance and social activities while helping them develop independence in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities Support young people in a residential care setting Assist with personal care and daily living activities Support residents with health needs and medication routines Accompany residents to school/day services and community activities Encourage independence, life skills and social development Follow care plans, behaviour support strategies and safeguarding procedures Maintain accurate records and work closely with the care team Requirements QQI Level 5 in Healthcare, Social Care or related discipline Full clean Irish driving licence (essential) Experience supporting individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is desirable Strong communication and teamwork skills A compassionate and reliable approach Shift Pattern Day shifts Evening shifts Waking night shifts Weekend work required Rotational 7-day shift pattern What We Offer Competitive salary Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment Opportunities for career progression Meaningful work making a real difference Skills: Healthcare Assistant
