Nelipak, Elsham is our facility that has been developing flexible packaging solutions for the last 25 years. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Print & Lamination Manager to become part of our friendly team!
Purpose of the role: Responsible for leading the Print and Lamination Hall safely and efficiently, whilst building strong relationships with the team and other stakeholders throughout the business. This role is a key position within the organisation and has a large role to play in influencing and planning the future at Nelipak.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. To manage and lead a large production team of up to 24 skilled operatives and Team Leaders.
2. Responsible for delivering productivity targets, whilst ensuring customer demand is achieved.
3. Drive and improve key KPI’s with Team engagement to improve results.
4. Provide a forward-thinking continuous improvement approach to safety, quality & productivity.
5. Manage and lead the Team ensuring optimum staffing levels, recruitment, training, and development.
6. To produce customer orders to the right specification, quality, and delivery times.
7. Ensure that we provide the right training and continue to upskill the teams.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have extensive experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2. Have previous experience of managing a large team.
3. Possess excellent time management skills.
4. Have excellent IT skills and familiarity with ERP and Machine Data Capture systems.
5. Be able to communicate and influence key stakeholders around the business.
6. Be proactive, positive, and enthusiastic – demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude.
7. Have a current, clean driving licence, as travel may be required.
