UI Engineer - React / TypeScript Our client is seeking a talented UI Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality, web-based user interfaces using React and TypeScript. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused solutions, combining strong technical skills with design thinking to create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging products. Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using React (TypeScript). Ensure high-quality code through automated testing, with a focus on integration tests. Collaborate with BAs, QA engineers, and PMs to deliver business-focused solutions. Create wireframes and prototypes for rapid feedback using tools like Figma. Contribute across the development lifecycle, supporting team members to grow T-shaped skills. Participate in agile ceremonies and promote an agile mindset. Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and configurations. Essential Experience / Skills 3+ years of professional web application development. Recent experience with React functional components (other frameworks considered). Proven ability to write integration and unit tests for UIs. Experience with contract-first system design (preferred). Proficiency in wireframing with Figma or similar. Familiarity with isomorphic frameworks (e.g., NextJS) and mono-repo tooling (e.g., NX, Yarn workspaces). Agile environment experience with strong attention to detail. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs. AWS knowledge beneficial. Desirable Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and moderate CSS proficiency. Understanding of UX and accessibility principles. Proficiency with Git and JIRA.
