A leading non-life insurance company is looking to hire a Compliance Manager for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This role will provide expert advice and oversight across a range of compliance activities, from monitoring and policy development to training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with management and external regulators, you'll help foster a positive compliance culture, promote best practice, and safeguard the organisation's integrity and reputation.Key responsibilities include:Conducting compliance monitoring and resolving identified compliance issues.Communicating and interpreting legislative and regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders.Performing impact assessments on upcoming legislation and managing identified gaps.Maintaining compliance registers, including incidents and thematic obligations.Developing and delivering the annual compliance training programme.Drafting, reviewing, and implementing compliance-related policies and procedures.Preparing and presenting compliance reports to senior management and the Board.Overseeing compliance-related third-party and vendor relationships.Coordinating regulatory reviews and managing interactions with the Central Bank of Ireland.Supporting key governance processes, including the Fitness & Probity (F&P) regime.Key requirements include:Professional compliance qualification (e.g. LCOI, ACOI), and ideally a third level qualification in Legal, Compliance, or a related discipline.Ideally, 2nd Line Compliance advisory experience in a non-life insurance company or consumer facing financial services firmStrong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and operational risk management requirements.
