Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates residential and day services across 15 locations, in which residents and day‑attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.
We are currently recruiting for Social Care Assistants to join our team.

Contracts available: Permanent Full time, Permanent Part time & 12 month fixed term
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week); Part time (20 hours per week); 12 month fixed term – please specify hours you are applying for on application
Salary: €34,884 – €43,193 per annum
Location: Grangebeg
Responsibilities
As a Social Care Assistant, you will work as part of a committed team, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism to live an ordinary life. Your duties will include assisting with daily living skills, personal care, following care plans to meet ongoing individual needs, and fostering a supportive environment. You will help maintain the standards of a leading national organisation while contributing to collaborative and learning work.
Requirements
Hold a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care.
Have at least 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Understand current policy and developments at national and sectoral levels in relation to social care within disability services.
Ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
Full driver's licence and availability of own car – essential requirement.
